PM Congratulates the King on the 18th Anniversary of His Reign

Kampong Thom: This morning 29 October 2022, Prime Minister Hun Sen paid homage to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the occasion of His Majesty’s 18th Anniversary Reign.

The Prime Minister wrote on his Facebook page today: "I would like to send blessings to Your Majesty – full health, strong will, fervor, bright intellect, long live the King for more than a hundred years to reign on the throne as a shelter to the people, his children and grandchildren, to take refuge, and live in harmony for eternity.”

His Majesty, King Norodom Sihamoni, King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is the son of His Majesty King Norodom Sihanouk and Her Majesty Norodom Monineath Sihanouk. He was elected by the Throne Council to be the King of the Kingdom of Cambodia, succeeding his father, after the King Father abdicated on 7 October 2004. King Norodom Sihamoni ascended the throne on 29 October 2004.
